About the CVB

The Adams County Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) serves both Adams County and the community of Hastings through event/convention support, grant administration and tourism promotion. The CVB serves leisure travelers and meeting/group tour planners and coordinates advertising/social media promotions on a regional, state and national level.

The CVB provides a variety of services to events of all sizes including planning assistance, publicity coordination, registration services and programming. The CVB also works to facilitate relationships between community businesses, attractions and events in order to increase partnerships in tourism promotion. Three grant programs are also administered by the CVB awarding over $100,000 annually to event planners and non-profit attractions.

The Adams County Convention & Visitors Bureau is located at 234 North Lincoln Avenue, and is open to the public between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. Weekend hours vary by season. The organization is funded through lodging and occupation taxes collected by both the City of Hastings and Adams County.
