The Hastings Community Theatre presents "Leaving Iowa". The Theatre is located at 515 South 4th Ave.Showtimes are Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
A little roast to the classic family road trip, Leaving Iowa is the story of Don Browning, a writer who returns home and decides to finally take his father’s ashes to his childhood home, as requested. But when Don discovers Grandma’s house is now a grocery store, he begins traveling across Iowa searching for a proper resting place for his father.
