Adams County Historical Society
The Adams County Historical Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the historical record of the times and people of Adams County, Nebraska. They present programs on preservation and historical interest in the area. Members of the Society board may be available for presentations on various topics including: Walt Miller-Naval Ammunition Depot, Elizabeth Spilinek - Historic Architecture, Will Locke - Oregon Trail. The CVB would be glad to call these individuals on your behalf.

CCC offers 33 career and technical education programs with a focus on degree, diploma and certificate programs requiring two years or less to complete. The college offers classes in communities throughout its 25-county service area, online learning, and training and development for businesses, industries and other organizations. Faculty members in a variety of industries and academic areas are available for presentations for your group.

More than 150 speakers offer 290 programs covering U.S. history and contemporary topics, global issues and cultures, literature and language, Nebraska and Great Plains history, ethnic history and culture, reading, writing and storytelling, and poetry and music. Forty-three of the programs are presented as living history with scholars portraying historical characters. There is a modest fee for speaker programs. Click here
