Susan Overmiller (AKA Suzy Q., Boss Lady, and Coffee Queen), is the owner of Barista's. She has lived in Hastings for over 21 years and opened Barista's of Hastings 15 years ago. Her husband is a veterinarian at the Animal Clinic and they are the parents of four wonderful young men (and an awesome daughter-in-law). She and her husband are Kansas State University graduates, and grew up in Kansas. They have embraced Nebraska as home and love raising their family in Hastings. Susan says, "I feel truly blessed with wonderful employees and customers. Owning a coffee shop has given me the opportunity to meet many interesting people and establish relationships that otherwise would not exist. I thank the Hastings community for embracing and supporting Barista's!"
